Thingummy-Jig began life as an arrangement of Thomas Simpson Cooke's Overture to Peleus and Thetis, 1802. The present score, worked on in Liège in January 1973 and revised in May 2012, is a complete revision and reworking of the 1971 arrangement, which departs much more from Tom Cooke's world!
